18-year-old Madeline Stuart decided to become a model. Her story is creating headlines and winning support due to one very little distinction, however – Maddy has Down syndrome.
Because she enjoys swimming and performing arts, Maddy was annoyed by the additional weight she had holding her back. With the assistance of her mother, Rosanne, she lost 44lbs (20kg). Her new-found energy and confidence impressed her to do modeling.
Madeline Stuart, has simply landed her 1st major modeling contract. Manifesta, a U.S.-based girls’s athletic-wear brand that targets women of all shapes, sizes and kinds, has taken on Stuart united of their representatives.

“I want people to stop saying ‘I’m sorry’ when I tell them my daughter has Down syndrome, because it’s a very naive statement”
