How to Write A Love Letter – Step-by-step Instructions
Text messaging and shooting mails is the standard today – whereas a good old-fashioned letter, particularly a handwritten one is a rarity. Follow these steps, if you wanna write a love letter:
Writing Your Own Love Letter
Select nice paper or stationery. Don’t send your love letter via email rather give the person a chance to touch, feel, and, if you’re lucky, tuck it into their pillow at night. Use a plain paper to write on that has either a simple white – calming cream – or sensual flesh-toned, color.
- A simple piece of printer or notebook paper is good enough, but my opinion is to pick high-quality paper. That will add a nice touch as well as show how much care went into writing this letter.
- Never use “teacher colors” like blue, green, and red as that make it look like you’re marking up a homework assignment. Rather go for black or brown ink to keep the writing grounded and classy-looking.
Set the mood
Use a private room, like a bathroom or bedroom, for the purpose. Put on some romantic music, and dim the lights or even light candles. Play a song that reminds you of the person. That way you’ll get to conjure up memories and feelings.
Use an intimate salutation.
Your options to address the person could be “beloved,” “dearest,” “beautiful,” “most cherished,” or, if suitable, a pet name. If your relationship is a romantic one, then you can simply say “my” (for example, “To My Dearest ____”), but avoid this if you’re using the letter to confess your feeling; it will look presumptuous and territorial. Rather go for something more detached like “To The Lovely ____,” for example.
Think of a time when you felt particularly moved by seeing your loved one, no matter how trivial the event. Create a vivid picture of that moment in your mind – that way you’ll get to prove that you were fully present and that all your attention was fixed on this person—something most people love to hear. Recall the emotional and physical feelings you experienced in that moment. Next, write the moment in detail including your feelings at the time.
It could be anything like: Compassion, Thankfulness, Beauty, Sense of humor, Humility, Resourcefulness. Write about the person’s unique attributes—looks, personality, humor, charm—to let this person know that you appreciate them on a number of levels.
- Don’t try to focus merely on appearance – it will make your feelings look superficial. But, exclusively concentrating on personality might seem too platonic (or make the individual feel unattractive). Try to be sensual but not openly erotic.
- Be fully, brazenly honest. Give more importance to your confession of exactly how you feel and why, instead of your writing style, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and any other distractions.
Write about the future.
If you’re confessing your feelings for the first time, acknowledge how giddy you are every time you know you’re about to see them again. If you’re away from each other describe all the things you want to do together when you’re reunited. If you’re committed, deliberate about goals, dreams, and fantasies you have about your future life together.
Sign the letter
Acceptable sign offs are “Yours,” “Yours Forever,” “XOXO,” “Kisses,” “Love,” and “Love Always.” If appropriate, insert a pet name, inside joke, or even a reply to a long-unanswered question to make it more personal.
Add a personal touch
Either apply lipstick on lips and kiss the paper, or spray the perfume or cologne you always wear on the paper, or trace your hand on the back so that the other person can hold their hand up to yours.
Put the letter in an envelope
Write other love letters
Make sure you don’t make this a one-time event; rather develop a habit of writing love letters to the person you care about for birthdays, anniversaries, time spent apart, time spent together, or no particular reason at all.http://www.aartiinformatics.com/relationship/write-love-letter-step-step-instructions/http://www.aartiinformatics.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Write-A-Love-Letter-step10.jpghttp://www.aartiinformatics.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Write-A-Love-Letter-step10-300x300.jpgLOVE & FRIENDSRELATIONSHIPa love letter, how to write a love letter, letter, love letter,to write a love letter, write a love letterText messaging and shooting mails is the standard today – whereas a good old-fashioned letter, particularly a handwritten one is a rarity.
