4 DIY Christmas Cards That Are Super Easy To Make!
Come the month of December and we all get into that lovely cozy Christmas-y feel. You want to actually get creative, get together as a family and make things you can be proud of. Also, not to mention, with the feeling of the season comes the want to share your handiwork with other people too. And what better way to do that than by making Christmas cards yourself! To help you with that, we have got this compilation of 4 D-I-Y Christmas Cards for you.
These can be perfectly enjoyable and productive activities, especially if you have children in the house. Imagine everybody sitting around and pitching in their little bit – what can be more in keeping with the holiday spirit than that!
So, here go our ideas:
#1 Button Christmas Tree Ornaments card
Now all you have to do is arrange them on the paper in any design you like. They’ll appear to hang on parallel strings, as you can see here. But the placement of the buttons is completely up to you. You then use adhesive to stick them to the paper. Just draw the strings later on with the bows in place, and you are done!
#2 House with Chimney card
For this card, you should ideally use thick black or navy blue paper. You also need white paper which is thinner, and a silver-ink pen. Now draw out the pattern you want on the white paper with a black pen. Cut it out using a pair of scissors. Use a pen knife for cutting out the windows and any other details.
Now stick this onto the card with glue. Use the silver pen to draw the ‘line’ of smoke. You can use the same marker to write ‘Merry Christmas’. You can make this a part of the smoke, as you see here – or you can write it separately on top.
#3 Button Christmas wreath card
For this card, use any round object to trace out a circle in the middle of a white or cream colored card. You will also need green buttons of various sizes and shades. Now just use hot glue to stick the buttons in place.
Give your imagination free rein in the arrangement of buttons. If you want, you can also glue in very small buttons in bright not-green shades to look like wreath decorations among the green ones.
#4 3D Christmas tree card
This is our last design. For this you will need patterned paper in green. Take 3 different patterns. Now cut out Christmas tree sized triangles out of each. Fold them all in half. Place two of them back to back and glue together just one half. Now take the other triangle and glue one half of that to the patterned paper you want to use in the center as shown in the picture. Finally glue the two un-glued parts onto your card and your 3D tree is complete. You can decorate with a little bow too!
So, there you have it… 4 really pretty ideas for D-I-Y Christmas cards. You can make the same card for everyone – make it a signature card and put in some special touch, like a custom surname signature in one corner, etc. Or you can make them varied. Just go crazy… And yes, don’t forget to have FUN while you make them!http://www.aartiinformatics.com/christmas/diy-christmas-cards-that-are-super-easy-to-make/http://www.aartiinformatics.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/christmas-card.jpghttp://www.aartiinformatics.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/christmas-card-300x300.jpgChristmaschristmas card, christmas card ideas, christmas card maker, christmas cards, christmas cards online, custom christmas cards, diy christmas card, diy christmas card ideas, diy christmas cards, make a christmas card, online christmas cardCome the month of December and we all get into that lovely cozy Christmas-y feel.
